Part Two: DNC Leader David Hogg Slams Pelosi’s “Too Well-Timed” Stock Trades, Wants to “Burn it All Down”
Key Points
Key Quotes - David Hogg, Vice Chair, Democratic National Committee
“[Pelosi] gets better returns than almost every hedge fund in this city. Every year.”
I know that if I pick that fight [with Pelosi], it’s going to be harder for us to get gun control passed. So I have to pick my battles."
“Conveniently they [Members of Congress] happen to be some of the best financial analysts in human history.”
"I just want to burn everything down because it’s all so corrupt.”
Project Veritas has released Part Two of a shocking undercover meeting with DNC Vice Chair David Hogg criticizing former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other members of Congress for suspiciously timed stock trades that suggest insider knowledge. In the footage, Hogg admits that Pelosi’s financial success - worth hundreds of millions - outpaces even the best hedge funds, raising serious questions about corruption at the highest levels of the political party he seeks to lead.
“I would say Pelosi’s actually very good at her job. I don’t agree with the stock trading stuff,” Hogg says in the video.

“Some of these members of Congress make trades that are, like, way too well-timed to not have, like, insider knowledge.” He goes further, stating, “She gets better returns than almost every hedge fund in the city. Every year.”
When pressed by a Veritas journalist on whether this is how Pelosi amassed her wealth, Hogg responds unequivocally: “Yes.” He acknowledges the systemic issue, noting, “They happen to be some of the best financial analysts in human history,” dripping with sarcasm about the improbability of Congress members’ market success without insider information.
Hogg expresses frustration with the corruption he perceives, admitting, “The hardest part about my job is I just want to burn everything down because it’s all so corrupt, but you’ve got to pick your battles.”
Despite his desire for reform, Hogg reveals a strategic choice to avoid confronting Pelosi directly, citing the risk it poses to his gun control agenda: “I know that if I pick that fight, it’s going to be harder for us to get gun control passed, so I have to pick my battles.”
Facing a potential ousting from his DNC role, Hogg’s remarks reveal how quickly newcomers in Washington face ethical compromises. Though seen as a threat by some in his party, Hogg’s unwillingness to publicly criticize powerful players in the Democrat establishment raises questions about how far a young idealist can get in DC without playing political games.
As seen in Part One of Project Veritas’ series, Hogg’s comments underscore how DC insiders are aware of “open secrets” about corruption but often choose silence over public exposure. In that video, Hogg exposed that Jill Biden's Chief of Staff, Anthony Bernal, was the true leader of the Biden White House.

A final installment featuring Hogg will uncover more about corruption, threats, and the true power dynamics within the Democratic Party in Washington, DC. Stay tuned.
