SAN ANTONIO, TX – Lt. Gov Dewhurst urged a statewide investigation into Battleground Texas today after Project Veritas’ latest undercover investigation showed Battleground Texas illegally data mining in attempts to elect Wendy Davis.

In a letter to the Secretary of State, Dewhurst stated (in reference to our video), “I find these efforts to hijack the registration process for partisan gain entirely unacceptable.” A Bexar County elections official has also stated she sent a report to the Secretary of State and that constituents are calling their office very concerned about their private information.

Project Veritas caught Battleground Texas Field Organizer Jennifer Longoria on camera multiple times making statements such as, “So every time we register someone to vote we keep their name and number.”
