The U.S. Government Accountability Office issued a response to Thursday’s video on Twitter stating they are “aware of the video” and “investigating the serious issues it raises.” They also states they have communicated with the GAO Inspector General.

When prompted by Project Veritas regarding the employment status of Natarajan Subramanian, GAO’s Public Affairs Managing Director Chuck Young issued this statement:

“Regarding your question, we cannot comment on his personnel status due to privacy laws. But he has been removed from any ongoing GAO work and cut off from access to GAO equipment. We have a rigorous quality control process with many reviewers that prevents one person from biasing our final reports. But we will also examine his work product as part of our investigation.”

These statements come following three undercover videos exposing federal employees abusing their positions in the government and neglecting their duties to engage in socialist activism. The first video prompted response from the Department of State, and the second video received a statement from the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services.

DOS Statement

“I can confirm Stuart Karaffa is a Management and Program Analyst with the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations.

We take seriously any allegation of a violation of the Hatch Act and financial disclosure rules and are closely reviewing this matter.

This is a personnel matter that we cannot comment on further at this time.”

As of 9/25, our complaint with the State Department has been moved up to the Office of Special Counsel. Our legal team is assisting and we will have more updates soon. Sign up to hear about these developments directly from us.

DOJ Statement

“These allegations are deeply concerning. Department policy prohibits misuse of government resources to advance personal interests. We are looking into this immediately and have referred this matter to the Inspector General as well.”

FOX News Channel politics reporter Brooke Singman reported on September 24, 2018 that “DOJ paralegal Allison Hrabar, who was the subject of O’Keefe report, no longer works at Justice Department.”

DOJ Director of Public Affairs Sarah Isgur Flores then confirmed to Project Veritas regarding an inquiry regarding Hrabar’s job status, saying:

“She is no longer an employee.”

HHS Statement

These allegations are deeply concerning. Individuals who share sensitive information for their own personal gain or motives, hinder our mission at the department to enhance and protect the health and well-being of Americans. These alleged actions are not only unacceptable, but possibly illegal, and warrant a swift and thorough investigation.”

GAO Statement

“We are aware of the video and investigating the serious issues it raises, and we have also communicated with the GAO Inspector General.”

Project Veritas attorney Ben Barr filed complaints with the Department of StateDepartment of JusticeDepartment of Health and Human Services, and the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

In an interview with Laura Ingraham on Wednesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo responded to questions about the findings of the first report in this series which showed an official at the Department of State who said “Resist everything. Every level. F*** sh*t up.”

POMPEO“Rest assured we’re aware of it and we’re taking a looking at it…”

INGRAHAM“If they’re going to be working against the administration they should go probably find another job?”

POMPEO“Absolutely. If this is a mission on which you can’t sign up for it’s time to go do something else with your time.”
