James O’Keefe Goes Undercover in Greece
Greek parliament effectively disenfranchised the results voters enacted opposing austerity reforms in their country. The Greek politicians voted to accept bailout terms from their European creditors while protestors rioted. James O’Keefe traveled to Greece to present the unfettered view of Greece’s citizens on their country’s economic crisis. O’Keefe was chased from riots under the threat of violence and was even tear-gassed. While in Greece, O’Keefe and Project Veritas undercover journalists infiltrated communist, socialist, and anarchist movements and captured members of Greece’s parliament on hidden camera. They also encountered illegal Syrian refugees from Turkey who were wanting to travel to Germany. Unsure of how they will make their destination, they discussed possibly creating and using fake passports, much like the terrorists in the Paris attacks who obtained fake passports to travel from Greece to Paris.

Things got intense when James O’Keefe and Project Veritas journalists spoke to members of the anarchist movement. One local journalist explained that when the anarchists come, they put their cameras down so they don’t get beaten up. O’Keefe also attempted to vote in the recent Greek Referendum and was told that photo ID was necessary. The poll worker was shocked that the U.S. did not have such laws, saying: “...how they know you are the one you say you are?”
