The New Jersey Senate held an Education Committee Hearing – supported by Democratic Governor Murphy and Democratic Senate President Sweeney – to investigate the unions and interrogate the Presidents that were fired.
Democratic Education Committee Chair Senator Teresa Ruiz stated, “We have to change the culture of individuals who think their main priority is to protect the worst.” We agree, politics is downstream from culture.
When the NJEA Executive Director Edward Richardson stated that his local union presidents had been “set up” by Project Veritas, Ruiz refused to accept his response, saying that no one can be set up to say the things we exposed on camera.
After the NJEA accused us of setting them up, Senator Ruiz responded:
“I cannot accept that. A person is not set up to say things like: ‘This file right here, this huge file, is from a teacher that had sex with a student. You’re not going to jail.’ No one can set you up to say something like that.”
Mr. Richardson, the top union officer to testify, finally stated:
“We recognize that despite the dishonest tactics used to obtain and edit the videos, some of what was said on them appeared to fall far short of our values and the standards we set for our union, its leaders, and its members.”
They’re eating their own kind! Below are some highlights from last week. Stay tuned!

We ain’t gonna take it, anymore!
A number of media outlets have been insinuating that we provided law enforcement with doctored video in the DisruptJ20 trial. Nothing could be farther from the truth; we made full, unedited, raw video recordings available to local and federal law enforcement authorities for their investigations.
Last week, The Daily Beast strongly insinuated that we edited video evidence – a highly illegal act, had we actually done so. We forced them to print a retraction, which they buried all the way at the bottom of their article. Now the media is taking things a step further by directly accusing us, instead of using sneaky implications and insinuations, that we fabricated evidence for use in court. This title from a Young Turks video says it all: EXPOSED: Right-Wing Hoax Group Fabricating Evidence.
Our top-notch legal team is already working on this, and by the time you receive this email, The Young Turks will have received a strong letter from our attorneys with a 48 hour demand for them to correct their defamatory action. If you want to help out, feel free to comment, tweet or otherwise let these reporters and fake news outlets know Project Veritas provided the full raw video in the DisruptJ20 case. A good place to start is this YouTube link or related tweet.
