Following Project Veritas’ undercover investigation exposing Obamacare Navigators counseling applicants to lie about their income status and health status, several lawmakers including Senator Cornyn, Congressman Issa and Congressman Sessions demanded stronger checks and balances on the Navigator system.
A Congressional hearing was held and the State of Texas has proposed rules to protect consumers from fraud. But Democrats are fighting back against the protections, demanding the DOJ block them. The Dallas Morning News reported, “In a Jan. 9 letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, they called the additional regulations “arbitrary, burdensome, and discriminatory.””
The question is, why wouldn’t you want to protect and safeguard people from fraud?
